Overview 📢
The Director of Technology is a senior leadership role and the Integrator over iDENTIFY's technical departments — Data Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, and Architecture. This person owns the technical vision, the security and compliance posture, and the day-to-day execution rhythm of the technology org. They translate the company's V/TO into technical Rocks, run the L10 for the technology leadership team, and keep the trains running while we scale toward our 3-Year Picture.
This role is the technical authority on client-facing engagements, the primary owner of our SOC 2 program, and the leader who turns Snowflake and Databricks investments into outcomes for community banks. Responsibilities âš’
EOS Integrator over Technology ðŸ§
- Run a weekly L10 with technology leadership; keep the Scorecard green and IDS issues to root cause
- Translate V/TO and quarterly Rocks into technical execution; own delivery against the 80% Rock completion bar
- Hold direct reports accountable using the People Analyzer (right people, right seats, GWC)
- Live Delegate & Elevate — push work to the right level so senior engineers operate at their highest contribution
- Partner tightly with the Visionary (Lee) and Integrator (Rachel) as a sub-Integrator over the technical functions
- Surface the right issues to the leadership team's Issues List instead of solving them in silos
- Manage company-issued devices
Compliance & Security (SOC 2) 🔒
- Own iDENTIFY's SOC 2 program end-to-end — Type 1 maintenance and the path to Type 2
- Hands-on experience walking auditors through evidence, controls, and remediation; previous SOC 2 audit cycle experience required
- Run our Drata implementation: control monitoring, evidence automation, policy reviews, vendor management
- Lead annual risk assessments and quarterly access reviews
- Own data governance, access control, and security best practices across all client and internal environments
